Lisa K. Myers, RN, PMHNP provides mental health care (medication and therapy) to women from the age of fifteen through adulthood. In addition to treating PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, anxiety, and major depressive disorder, she specializes in treating women who are experiencing pregnancy and postpartum related mood changes. One out of five to seven women suffer from a mood disorder that begins either during pregnancy or following delivery. She works with clients in a non-judgmental, compassionate, and collaborative way to help women improve relationships with others, increase self-esteem, and take charge of their mental wellbeing.
Lisa is currently offering same day telehealth appointments, in person and after hours appointments and accepts most major insurances.

Meet Lisa Myers, RN, PMHNP
Lisa graduated from Texas State University with an Advanced Practice Degree in Psychiatric Nursing. Prior to returning to school, she worked in women’s health for twenty-five years. She currently is a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI) and serves as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Houston area. She has completed PSI’s Perinatal Mood Disorder: Components of Care Course as well as the Perinatal Mental Health Advanced Psychopharmacology Training. She regularly engages with various organizations including Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Women’s Mental Health virtual rounds to remain current on the pharmacologic treatment in perinatal mental health. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurse Association (APNA) Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses (PAPN) of Houston and Texas, and Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP).
